Whatever You Do, Don’t “De-Jew”

Was guided by “professional Wrestler” aka LA Theatre Producer Rick Culbertson to this Cityfile, New York column on the exploits of this guy Mark Riedel.  He’s been called ”the city’s most contentious Broadway commentator” by, well, someone important.  He writes for the NY Post.

Thanks, Rick!

Especially liked this from the column:

After Riedel called the 2004 “Fiddler on the Roof” revival “de-jewed,” the show’s director, David Leveaux, punched him in the face at Angus McIndoe on 44th street. Both emerged relatively unscathed, although Riedel’s watch was broken.

I personally would love to see a “de-jewed” Fiddler on the Roof.

Or even a “jewed-up” Mamma Mia! for that matter.

I’m easy that way.
